A Short Short Break

The Summer is coming to a end pretty pretty fast. Summer school ended at the end of july and I flew straight home. I was not feeling school at all this summer it was very very hard to focus so needless to say when it was over I got the HELL out of there and flew home.

I surprise my family becuase I knew I was only staying for two-n-half weeks. Everyone thought I was coming home on saturday, July 31 but I had enough of school and decided to fly back a few days eariler, July 29. It was fun surprising everyone.

The first week of being home, we went staight to work with getting all the details ready for Crystal's Shower. So we drove all over the South Bay it seems planning the prizes and games for 85 people. On Aug 7, we were all ready to go. We had a farily early day and heading to the chessecake factory and got to setting up the room with everything. People started to show up at about 10:30 (the early Italians) and the shower started. There was good food, games, laughter, prizes and the gifts. It was great, everyone had a great time.

The second week was dedicated to my friends. When mom found out that I was only here for a few weeks she facebooked everyone so they can schedule me in. LOL.. Well thats what everyone did. One day was for Lena, one day was for Kevin, one day was for all my appointments, one day was a wedding and the last two days was for whatever. Whether that was going to crystal's and geoff's house and decorating, being home and relaxing or a drop by friend. Whatever happened that day. It was fun, the days with the friends was nice an relaxing, and the wedding was great. CONGRATS ANGELA AND JONATHAN!

The last few days are mostly for getting ready to go back to Missouri both mentally, and physically. I am so not ready for school, I dont know what happened during the summer months but I am totally burnt out. Even thou my head wasnt really in it this summer, I thought I gave it all I got, however, once I got home I got an email from my teacher that she wanted to meet me over my grade (thats NEVER NEVER GOOD). So I pushed pasted it during the break because I didnt want it to affect my summer but now that summer is over I am getting very nervous and scared to meet with my teacher.

Anyways... It was a great short summer break. I head back on tuesday Aug 17 mid morning. ;( I am excited to go back to see all my friends and family back in Missouri but I am DREADING school.

Summer is here!

Summer is here!! The last few days, its been in the high 90s-low 100s... OMG, its hot all I want to do is eat ice cream and swim in the pool.. Sound like a fun summer. A few things are going on...

School is also on its way, its only been three weeks, and I am ready to go home to california! We have more clients and more papers. Our teachers are definitely pushing us to our max. I guess its good for us because they are making us better teachers. However, it seems like the reward is pretty far away. I'll stop complaining..

We finally have guests! Marty and Missy came last week (Margie's sister and niece) and Micheal and Angelina arrived just yesterday (Margie's grandchildren). Its nice to have a few people here, it makes everything much more exciting and even more busy than normal.

So far this summer, We have had Kezzie's first birthday, she is getting so big. For her birthday she got all new summer clothes, a swing, those little couches, a little toy motorcycle, a handmade wagon from Don and Margie, and dana and brian got her a little pool for the summer. She just loves her pool, her motorcycle, rides on her wagon and all her new toys.

I also had a great opportunity to head to st. louis with a few of my girl friends. We went on Anheuser- Bush tour, we also went to a Lady Antebellum and a Tim McGraw concert, then we got a hotel room and the next day we went to a baseball game (it was one of my girlfriend's brother's game). We had a great weekend, I had a blast! I love enjoying the sun and hanging out with my girlfriends. From now til I go home we have: Angelina's birthday party (Margie's granddaughter), we have a baby shower and 4th of July is squezzed in there somewhere. And who knows, I am sure there are many many more things that are happening.. thoses were just the big ones. LOL... I am having so much fun enjoying life, but I am ready to go home.

When I get home theres a whole lot waiting there for me too: Crystal's bridal shower, Crystal's bachelorette party, getting our bridemaids dresses, another wedding, helping out with Crystal's and Geoff's house and the fun things like my dentist and eye appointments.. LOL.. so much to do! But I am excited to help be apart of the weddding! I am eager to get home...

Our Vacation

It's mid July and it seems so much has happened this summer already. Here is the overview:

The Canty Trio flew up to Oregon for friend's wedding. He has been a very close friend to our family and I am still shocked that he is married. We had a great time there. I was able to walk around my old campus. It is still breath taking. I love how relax everything is, so peaceful, it is still just as amazing as I remembered it. The wedding was great! It was at her grandparent's ranch. It was perfect, little twinkle lights everywhere. I am so happy that we were apart

of this great celebration.

They were so happy that day.. Tyler couldnt stop smiling all night.. I am so happy for both of them. I wish them a LONG and HAPPY marriage!

From Oregon, we met our parents in Missouri. It was was first time in Missouri and it was breath taking. The house we stayed in is close friends of my grandparents and it is also the same house I will be staying in when I go for my Masters in August. The house sits in the forest. We saw quite a few deers while we were driving, actually one night at the dinner table, we saw two deers eating outside of our window.. It was amazing. We also took a drive to my campus and I was able to register for my classes, see my classroom that I will be helping in, and take a tour in the clinic. We also took a drive throughout my town, we went to a local church that I will be attending. At the fourth of July, the church put on a HUGE celebration. There were bouncers, food, concerts, preaching... 120,000 people came and 121 people accepted the Lord... It was amazing.. and of course there were fireworks..

• The sand between your toes
• Having some color on your face
• Having a nice cold beer on a friday night
• Having a Bond fire at night on the beach
• Sitting on the sand listening to a friend playing a guitar at the bond fire
• A pool party
• Letting your "hair down" and enjoying life
• The smile that says "nothing can go wrong because it is summer time"
• Playing sand volleyball
• Having a CPK Dinner after a day at the beach
• Having breakfast/lunch/or dinner outside with an ocean view
